It has been a long time since I have posted. We have been so busy!!! We are all doing really well. Nobody has had to go to the ER this week and that is agood thing.
A couple of weeks ago Nat broke her wrist and has to wear a cast. Syd is doing good. We saw her doctor a few weeks ago and in Jan. we have to do a CT scan of the rest of her spine. The reason for this is because they saw fluid pockets further down her spine. We don't know what we will have to do until that is done. The baby is getting so big he just got his first tooth this week. OUCH!! But he is so cute and we love him. Jeff and I are doing good. Just busy taking care of the fam. We are getting excited for christmas!
Couple of weeks ago my little family had the opportunity to spend the weekend at grandmas house and take care of her. I am so thankful for her! I think that she is such an amazing women. It was really good for the kids to be with her. Even though it was alot of work, the time was well worth it.
I am so thankful for all of our trial that we have been through this last year. We have gained huge blessings. Thank you to eveyone who has remembered us in your prayers!
Merry Christmas!
Love,
The Dockstader

Syd's birthday party

Last Friday Syd had her birthday party. We went to the pumpkin walk that is at the Grist Mill by our house. The kids had a ton of fun rolling down the hill and playing the games that they had for the kids. She got lots of things from her friends. Her favorite thing is the Lightnening McQuenn car the her liitle buddy Taycen got her. She loves cars. Yesterday grandma Joan took her to the toy store and let her pick out her present. We stood in the car section for about 15min. Then we went over and looked at the Baries, babies, and princesses. She loves Sleeping Beauty! So she decided to get make-up and cars. So, anything that is cars and princesses she will take and LOVE!!! I love my little Squid!

Sad night......
I just got a phone call from my sister Whitney. She called to tell me that my dad had to shave my mom's head cause her hair was falling out.
I remember a year ago when she was here at my house and I got the opportunity to shave her head. It was so empowering to do that!! I told her that I wanted to be the one to do it. At first when I started brushing it, there were was so much hair in my hands. There were so many emotions in the kitchen that night. Especially my dad. Then it finally came to shaving it. That was one of the hardest things I have had to do. I just want to tell my mom THANK YOU and I LOVE YOU!! She is such an amazing woman. Since then I have seen my mom in a different light. I now really understand how important moms are.
Tonight my dad had the opportunity to shave her head. When I talked to him he said, "I am OK! It was hard to do that!". They both were crying on the phone. I believe that this their journey that they are supposed to take together.
We are going to get through this mom!! I just want to tell you and dad that I am thankful for everything that you have done for me and my family. WE LOVE YOU!!

Family update
Here is a quick update...
Talmage is doing so good and is growing! He is still on the monitor at night but keeping his oxygen up. The girls are loving him to pieces! They are always fighting over who gets to hold him first and who was looking at him first. He is the cutest boy ever!!
Nataly and Sydney are staying busy! Every Tuesday they get to the movies with the neighbors. They stayed in St.Goerge for a week and played in the pool with cousins every day and had a blast!! Thanks to my family for taking them while Talmage was in the hospital. Nat is getting excited to go back to school she is going to be in the first grade. Syd is going to be in PreSchool. Then in a couple of weeks Jeff's family is going to be here for Jenn's weeding and all of the cousins are going to play and get to wear pretty dresses.
Mom and dad are trying to stay caught up on sleep. This 3rd kid has thrown our world up side down. I haven't up to much but being a mom. Jeff hasn't been up to much either.
Here is our little update. I'm not able to post pictures right now but I will keep trying.

It's a BOY!!!
Talmage Jeff Dockstader arrived on June 24th at 12:48 p.m. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 7oz. and 20 1/2 inches. He is as cute as can be! He is in the NICU for a few days until he can breath better on his own! He is on a ventilator, but the Dr.'s are optimistic that everything will be fine. He gave us a bit of a scare! Please keep us in your prayers! Kandiss is doing fine! Nataly & Sydney are glad he is finally here! Watch for further updates in a few days!

Happy Birthday Nataly!!!!

Race for the Cure

On Sat. my family came up and did the Race for the Cure. I am so glad that they decided to come and do it. The past couple of years I have done the raceand it was a lot of fun. This year it meant so much more. Because my mom had breast cancer. It is amazing all of the people that are there because they know someone with cancer, has had it, and even somebody that has died from it. I just want to tell every one THANK YOU for coming out and being on the team with us. We had a lot of fun! Thanks for coming and suppoting my mom. LOVE YOU MOM!!
