Good news today!

Yesterday Jeff and I went to the doctor for my check-up. Everything looked good and we heard the baby's heart beat. The doctor also told us that I'm farther along than what we thought. I'm close to 12 weeks. Which makes us happy. I just need to get past 13 weeks and we will be great!!!

Up date!!

Syd's surgery has been scheduled. She will be having it on Jan. 6th. We are going to on fast Sunday and we would like every one to join in. Please remember her in your prayers. Thank you!

Syd's update

On Monday we saw the Neurosurgeon and Sydney is going to need surgery. When he showed us the MRI's you see that there is pockets of fluid in her spinal cord. Also there is not much room where the cerebellum and spinal cord are. We are probably going to do the surgery at the first of the year. So that's the update for now. We will keep you posted!!!

Bad news!

Yesterday was kind of a bad day. Sydney had a MRI to find out why she has been having headaches. The pediatrition called and told us that she has Chiari I Malformation. When he told us I lost it. Chiari I malformation is an abnormality in the lower part of the brain called the cerebellum. There are several differnt forms. Sydney has Chiari I and this is the most common type. Most cases of Chiari are congenital, meaning they are present from birth.
I am really scared at this point. Jeff and I went to the temple last night and I left feeling good. I know every thing is going to be ok and that this is something that we are going to have to go through.
I am going give a web site so you guys can go and check it out. It has alot of info on the doctor that we are going to see on Monday. His name is Dr. John Kestler. Also there is good info about what she has.

Nana was in town

My mom was here for the last few days. She flew in on Sunday night and went home on Wednesday. While she was here it was so nice cause we got to spend a lot of time together. I am so proud of my mom. She is such a rock and is so strong!!! I think that through every thing she has been through with grandma and trying to take care of her self she has stayed strong. Considering, she looks so good. I just want her to know that I love her and she is my hero.

Murder Mystery

Jeff and I went to a Murder Mystery party last Saturday. Jeff was the Dark Hunter and he worked for Lord Byron. He hunted for anyone that he was post to kill. Also him and I had a secret relationship going on. I was Yass Mean and I was the founder of Women of the Underworld. She wanted to be the head of the Vampire Court. Also wanted to have the women on top. While we were eating were to talk amongst our selves and try to figure out who killed Lord Byron the head of the Vampire Court. We had a blast!!!

Happy Halloween

So we decided to go to Kristi's house for Halloween. The kids had a ton of fun trick or treating with Kenna. Syd was done was she got her favorite treat (rice crisy treat). Nat wanted to keep going as long as Kenna was going. She tried so hard to be big like her. We had a blast. Thanks Kristi for the food and fun!

I can see!!!!

Last week I went to the eye doctor and he said that I needed glasses. So when I put them on I couldn't believe how bad I really needed them. Now I am going to be able to see at night better and I wont have to squint any more. I can see!!!!

Tonight for family night the kids and Jeff carved pumpkins. They had a ton of fun deciding what they wanted them to look like. The kids were having fun playing in all of the seeds and slimy stuff. Then after we went out on the porch and took some pictures.

Scooter Rides!!!

A few Sunday's ago we were out with the neighbors and they have a scooter and they brought it out and told us that we could ride it. Well, little did they know that the Dockstader's would be over almost every day to ask if we could take it for a ride. Our kids love the scooter and want us to buy one. But, I think that Jeff likes it better then the kids do.
So on Sunday when Grandam Joan, Papa, Kenna and Jessica came out for dinner he asked me to call them and ask if we could borrow it so that girls and Grandma Joan could have rides. They were very nice and told us that we could use it cause they weren't going to be around. They told us to have fun. So we did!!

Walk to school day!

So today was walk to school day for Nat's school. So all of the kids that wanted to walk met a park and walked to school. The principal and the Sheriff's department escorted all of the kids to school. We had a lot of fun walking to the school. Nat thought it was really cool cause rides the bus to school. I am such a "DING DONG"! I forgot the camera so pictures. But I thought that I would bog it any way.

Witches

On Wednsday Nat didn't have school because of parent teacher confernces. So we decided to go do something fun and we went to the witches at Gardner Village. Mindy and Belle went with us. We had a really good time.

Can you dance?

On Sunday Jeff asked me how much is too much to spend on a date. I told him a couple hundred. He said, "Well would you like to got to So you think you can dance?" I was so excited when he told me. Cause a few months ago we tried to get tickets to go and they were so sold out. So he found some on KSL. The guy that he bought them from had four so we invited our neighbors to go with us.
We had so much fun!! I was screaming the entire time and I have lost my voice. It so much better to see in person then on TV. I just want to tell my husband "THANK YOU SO MUCH, I had a blast!". So here are some pictures. 4 REAL!!!! So I have been trying to put some pictures on the blog but for some reason it keeps giving an error but when it starts working again I will put some on.

Sydney dances!

So last week was Syd and Nat's first week of dance. They both love it but Sydney was so funny about the whole thing. When I was getting her ready for dance she kept say "I'm so sited". It was the funniest thing watching her dance. When I signed her up I didn't think that she would like it. Cause at home when her and Nataly are dancing Syd does her own thing. I think that her favorite part was wearing Nat's old dance clothes. It looks like we are going to have two dancing queens in our house.

Shaving my mom's head!

So I am a little bit behind on blogging. So when my mom came a couple of weeks ago her hair was falling out in clups. She asked if I would brush it. So as I was brushing it it was coming out in chuncks. As that was happening she decided to go ahead and shave it. It was really hard for me to shave her head. But I think that she looks realy pretty with no hair.

So today I talked to my mom. She was telling me about her hair. It is starting to fall out in chunks now. When she combs it the comb is full of hair. I feel so bad for her! I wanted to cry but I knew she didn't want to here me cry. What do you say to some one that is going through this. It has been very hard for our family. She is coming this weekend and I am going to shave her head for her. It is bitter sweet! I went shopping this morning and bought her a scarf. I cann't wait to see her with it on. I know that she is going to look great. We LOVE you mom.

Labor Day weekend

We went to St. George for Labor Day. It was a lot of fun but very busy. My sister blessed her baby on Sunday. We did a lot of hanging out at my parents house and swam. Jeff and I went to Tuacahn and saw Les Mes. It was such and awesome play.

My mom did pretty good. She would let you know if she was tired or if she didn't feel good. But I was surprise on how well she did. Her hair started coming out a little bit while we were there.

We took some family pictures before my mom looses her hair. We had my mom sister take them for us cause it was a last minute thing. We haven't had a family picture taken since Nat was 1. It was a lot of fun. And every body was there.

Syd the Squid's black eye!!!

On Sunday before church the girls were playing in their room on the beds. They were lifting up the mattresses and Syd just happened to be under the mattress and it fell on top of her and she hit her nose on the boards. I heard her screaming and I went into check on her. When I picked her up I could see that she hit her nose and then I looked at her eye and it was black and blue. This is our first black eye!!

Nat's first day of school....

Nataly's first day of school was yesterday. She was so excited she got to ride the bus to school. It was sad for me but exciting too. Jenni came and stayed the night and was there for Nat's first day. After we took Nat to the bus stop we drove over to the school and met her there. I wanted to make sure she knew where she was going and that she could find her teacher. When I got there, I went to take her to where her class was sitting and pushed my hand away. That made me so sad cause I knew she was ready. Nataly was so excited about riding the bus. She said that she likes both of her bus drivers.

Sydney was a little more bummed today cause Nat wasn't around. She wants to go to big girl school now. Today she told me that she was ready cause she can go on the big girl potty, cause if go potty like a big girl you get to go to school.
